A race is measured in kilometres. Its purpose can reach much further. At the Watoto Wasome Half Marathon, every start line is an invitation to stand alongside young people and the futures they are working towards.
A shared reason to show up
Education is a journey that asks for more than a place in a classroom. Encouragement, mentorship and a community that keeps showing up all matter. That is the spirit behind Miles for Minds: bringing people together around the promise of every learner.
One community. Three distances. A future worth running for.
On 29 November 2026, we come together at KALRO Grounds, Muguga. Whether you choose 21KM, 10KM or 5KM, you are joining a community with a shared purpose. Bring your friends, bring your family, and bring your own reason for taking part.
Make your miles meaningful
Your involvement can begin long before race day. Share the event with someone who believes in education. Invite a colleague to join you. Explore the stories and annual reports on our impact page to learn more about the work behind the run.
And when you arrive at the start line, remember: the distance is your choice. The purpose is something we share.
Influencing care. Making room for possibility.
